Hello Design World!

These days I’m going crazy between deciding what to write and what not to write. So I decided to make a list of things I do want to write about, that’s what those “Get Organized” books tell you to do in Step 1. Write out your wishlist.

So here it goes… Big ideas, Case studies, Methodologies, Visual Communication, Interface Design, User-Experience Design, Usability, Blogs, Mobile wars, Strategy, Technology, Practicality, Graphic Art, Music, Start-ups and more to come. Alrite, I agree that’s too much jargon to begin with. Simply put, I’m going to write about anything and everything related to the ‘how’ of design from Interface Design to the social user-experience design. I will be posting some of my recent work along with experience’s i’m going through in this Internet Jungle Age.

So that was “what” I was going to write/post things about. Here is the “why”.

I started of as a DJ.  Started to understand the different elements that made a melody and a beat, understood pattern structure’s that sounded visually beautiful. After this, I started questioning the design of everything and the passion for good music set high expectations.

At the end of the day in every design there is a Method to the Madness. I design because I like to find the practicality in the method of madness. To add to it, it’s also the curiousity in “why” a particular thing functions in a certain manner.

Design is defined as:

“purpose, planning, or intention that exists or is thought to exist behind an action, fact, or material object”

Now try relating this meaning to each and every keyword from my wishlist and suddenly you realize there is a pattern to everything and a purpose it’s just how you decide to design it.
